Prep your products for their big day!

  • Inspect each product for dust, scratches or damage.
  • Clean or replace with a better product where possible.

Lifestyle Prop Theory

Select props that reflect the story you are trying to tell. What life does your customer lead? What does that look like on the day-to-day? For example, a soup bowl might have soup, a napkin, a book, and some bread.

Pick items that fit with your moodboard and brand colour pallet. If you are an eco brand and use a lot of green, plants may be a good option!

Select textures that fit with your brand aesthetic and identity already. Themes could include wood, marble, concrete, bold colour, metallic, etc.

Fabrics and textures are a nice touch. Throw blankets, towels, pillows, coasters, plants, gem stones or whatever makes sense for your brand, bring it!

*The more options the better! I won't use everything, but it's always good to have variety to play with.*

Behind the scenes: Things you use to create your products, such as sewing materials, raw ingredients, paintbrushes, empty packaging or flowers.

Things that are needed to use your product, like a snack bowl may need some snacks!
